Grilled Bananas

Ingredients
  • 6 firm bananas, unpeeled
  • ½ teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • sundae toppings of choice; hot fudge, butterscotch, honey, etc

Instructions
  1. Preheat the grill to medium/high heat.
  2. In small bowl combine sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Lay the unpeeled bananas on the grill and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, turning only once.
  4. The peels will be almost black when finished.
  5. Carefully remove the hot peels and toss the bananas into the sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Slice and serve while warm with a topping of choice.

      I just found another recipe that was for grilled banana smores! How perfect would that be? Graham cracker, toasted marshmallow, grilled banana slices and a little peanut butter to hold the banana. YUM
